Trump says no alternative to coal as White House plans $700 million to revive industry

The White House is reportedly planning to inject $700 million in additional public funds to support the U.S. coal-fired power industry, including restarting shuttered plants and building new coal plants. LG Electronics expands training for heat pump engineers in South Korea

LG Electronics is stepping up efforts to train specialist engineers in South Korea in line with the launch of new heat pump boiler products. It said it held professional training on installation and maintenance for domestic heating, ventilation and air-conditioning engineers at its HVAC academy in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. The company plans to run training nationwide and said it has trained more than 4,000 people since 2014 and has more than 1,000 service engineers at Hi-M Solutek.
