Crypto industry should lock in institutional adoption before 2028 U.S. election, separate from Clarity bill

The crypto industry should expand blockchain adoption now to a level that would be hard to reverse in case of a future change in U.S. administration, an industry executive said. Digital Asset co-founder and CEO Yuval Rooz said at Token2049 in Singapore that firms should use the current regulatory environment to accelerate institutional adoption and make blockchain widely used infrastructure before the 2028 U.S. presidential election. Panelists differed on reliance on the Clarity bill, while noting ongoing work by the SEC and CFTC.
