[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Synopsys said on Thursday it introduced Synopsys AgentEngineer, a multi-domain agent portfolio in which AI agents perform reasoning, planning and execution across the full silicon and system development process.
The company said Synopsys AgentEngineer helps engineering teams boost productivity, improve design quality and complete key workflows faster. It also optimises token efficiency and reduces latency.
Task-level Agents can apply Synopsys engineering expertise to complex design tasks.
Synopsys AgentEngineer and the task-level agents work together to support autonomous execution of tasks across domains.
The agents were developed on the Synopsys Autopilot Platform for autonomous engineering. The Synopsys Autopilot Platform provides orchestration, skills, memory, telemetry and governance for autonomous engineering workflows.
Ravi Subramanian (라비 수브라마니안), Synopsys chief product management officer, said, "Customers are redesigning engineering workflows across semiconductor and system products to respond to rising system complexity and tight time-to-market schedules." He said, "Synopsys AgentEngineer solutions and the Autopilot Platform, built on proven EDA and simulation and analysis engines, accelerate the pace at which customers transition from AI-assisted design to autonomous engineering."
