Red Hat, a global open source solutions company, said on Monday it will expand its Red Hat Training and Certification programme to help companies strengthen AI capabilities.

The company said Red Hat AI and Red Hat OpenShift AI help companies accelerate the development and delivery of AI solutions in hybrid cloud environments.

The programme includes training courses on how to manage the full lifecycle of AI applications, accredited qualifications and case-based learning.

Red Hat said efficient use of AI requires learning new AI capabilities while also validating existing capabilities.

Red Hat introduced the "Developing and Deploying AI/ML Applications on Red Hat OpenShift AI" course as a starting point for AI learning.

The course has been updated to reflect features in Red Hat OpenShift AI version 3.3 and provides foundational knowledge for managing the full lifecycle of the latest AI applications. It also covers how to train, test, deploy and monitor predictive and generative AI models at scale.

The "Red Hat Certified Developer in AI certification" validates practical skills to build, deploy and manage machine-learning models that support AI-based applications. Red Hat also provides a range of technical overview materials and team-based AI training courses to help respond to technology trends.
