OpenFX raises $94 million for stablecoin-based FX expansion
OpenFX, a startup offering stablecoin-based foreign exchange market-making and remittances, has raised $94 million in funding. Reuters reported the round was led by Accel, Atomico, Lightspeed Faction, M13, Northzone and Pantera, valuing OpenFX at about $500 million. Founded in 2024, the company links legacy banking systems with digital infrastructure using stablecoins to support real-time FX, and plans to expand into Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Cursor seeks additional funding at $50 billion valuation
AI coding startup Cursor is discussing raising additional funding at a valuation of about $50 billion, according to reports. Bloomberg News said the talks are at an early stage and may not lead to a final investment deal. Cursor raised $2.3 billion in November from Accel, Thrive, Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue Management, Nvidia and Google, valuing it at $29.3 billion. The company develops AI coding tools for developers.

Rivian affiliate Mind Robotics raises $500 million
Mind Robotics, an industrial automation startup founded by Rivian Automotive CEO RJ Scaringe, has raised $500 million, SiliconANGLE reported on March 12. The funding round was co-led by Accel and Andreessen Horowitz and valued the company at $2 billion. Mind Robotics is developing AI-based industrial robots, including multipurpose machines and a foundation model, along with deployment infrastructure for industrial and manufacturing sites. Rivian will support testing and deployment at its factories and supply a custom processor.
