AI coding startup Cursor is discussing raising funds from investors at a valuation of about $50 billion, according to reports.
Bloomberg News said the talks are at an early stage and may not lead to a final investment deal.
Cursor raised $2.3 billion in November from Accel, Thrive, Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue Management, Nvidia and Google, valuing it at $29.3 billion.
Based in San Francisco, Cursor develops AI coding tools that help developers write code faster. It is regarded as one of the fastest-growing startups in Silicon Valley. Its annual recurring revenue stood at $2 billion as of February, up sharply from $150 million a year earlier.
