SAP unveiled its \"Autonomous Enterprise\" vision at its annual Sapphire 2026 conference on May 12, aiming to redesign how people and AI work together. The strategy centres on the SAP Business AI Platform, which integrates the business technology platform, business data cloud and business AI in a single environment. SAP\'s generative AI assistant Joule anchors the platform, while Joule Studio supports customers building agentic AI experiences.

GitHub will shift the pricing of its AI coding tool GitHub Copilot to a usage-based system from June, replacing a monthly flat-fee structure. From June 1, all Copilot plans will use GitHub AI Credits, which are deducted when AI features are used and trigger additional charges once exhausted. Core code completion and Next Edit Suggestions will remain included and will not consume credits. Monthly subscription prices will stay unchanged.
