Samsung Electronics returns to PC chip market after more than 10 years. What is it really aiming for?

Samsung Electronics is developing an AI PC chip called Gaia, marking a return to the PC chip market after more than 10 years. The effort coincides with the launch of its Galaxy Book6 Edge laptop using Qualcomm\'s Snapdragon processor. Dell unveils six new XPS and Alienware products, from 1 kg ultralight laptop to 330 Hz gaming monitor

Dell Technologies on Wednesday unveiled six new products, including premium consumer XPS laptops and Alienware gaming laptops and monitors. The lineup includes the 1 kg XPS 13 with a 2.5K touch display and Intel Wi-Fi 7, and the XPS 16 Creator Edition featuring Nvidia’s RTX Spark AI PC platform. Alienware also introduced a 15.3-inch gaming laptop and three monitors, including a 39-inch 5K OLED model supporting 1080p at 330 Hz.

Korea Lenovo expands AI PC lineup with two new desktops and a laptop

Korea Lenovo said on Wednesday it is expanding its AI PC lineup with the launch of two all-in-one desktop PCs and a laptop. The IdeaCentre AIO 27ILL11 and 24ILL11 combine a minimalist design with AI functions and target home and home office use. The models offer 27-inch or 24-inch FHD displays, plus a 5MP camera, Harman stereo speakers and a microphone with smart noise-cancelling. The IdeaPad Slim 3i supports Copilot+ PC features.
