Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang (젠슨 황), who is visiting South Korea this week, will hold a one-on-one meeting with Krafton chairman Chang Byung-kyu (장병규).

Industry sources said on Wednesday that Huang is expected to meet Chang in Seoul this week, along with Krafton Chief AI Officer Lee Kang-wook (이강욱) and Jang Tae-seok (장태석), who oversees the 'Battlegrounds' IP franchise. The exact time and venue have not been disclosed.

The agenda is expected to include cooperation in physical AI-based humanoid robots and gaming collaboration based on Nvidia's recently unveiled AI PC brand 'RTX Spark'. Krafton said in April last year that key executives visited Nvidia's headquarters in California to discuss cooperation on next-generation technologies including robots.

A key link for the meeting is Ludo Robotics, a physical AI-focused unit Krafton set up early this year. Ludo Robotics has appointed Krafton CEO Kim Chang-han (김창한) as CEO of its U.S. headquarters and Lee as head of its South Korea branch, and is stepping up development of humanoid robot AI. Nvidia is also fostering physical AI as a core business, raising expectations that the companies will discuss R&D and infrastructure cooperation.

Beyond physical AI, cooperation in chipsets is also drawing attention. RTX Spark uses the N1X integrated CPU-GPU chipset that Nvidia co-developed with MediaTek, and includes 128 GB of unified memory and 1 petaflop of AI computing performance, allowing AI agents to run without an internet connection. Krafton has adopted an on-device AI approach for 'PUBG: Battlegrounds' AI companion play feature 'PUBG Ally' and the 'Smart Joy' feature in its life simulation game 'Inzoi'. Observers say N1X's local AI computing performance could speed up the popularisation of these in-game AI features.

Huang is also scheduled to hold a separate meeting in Seoul on June 7 with NC chief executive Kim Taek-jin (김택진) to discuss cooperation on games, AI and physical AI.

Huang is due to arrive on Wednesday evening and is set to meet the heads of major South Korean companies as well as figures from the gaming industry, robotics and AI startups, and researchers.
