SOOP to exclusively broadcast 2026 Overwatch Champions Series in Korean
SOOP has been selected as the exclusive Korean-language broadcast partner for the 2026 season of the Overwatch Champions Series, it said on Sunday. The deal gives SOOP a second straight year handling domestic OWCS coverage. Viewers in South Korea will be able to watch all matches in up to 1440p. OWCS Asia Korea runs three stages annually, with top teams advancing to international events, including the 2026 OWCS Champions Clash.

Shinsung E&G to unveil next-generation air control technology at Semicon Korea 2026
Shinsung E&G said on Monday it will present next-generation semiconductor air control solutions at Semicon Korea 2026 in Seoul. It will recreate a cleanroom structure identical to a production line and design the space so visitors can grasp airflow and contamination control principles. The firm will also arrange key equipment along the same routes and layouts used on site and visualize airflow and particle movement in real time.

MSIT says Daedeok Innopolis lab company HandaLab achieves Nasdaq entry
South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT said Daedeok R&D special zone lab company HandaLab recently joined U.S. strategic metals supply chain company EMA as a strategic subsidiary implementing key processes using AI automation technology, enabling entry to the Nasdaq market. The ministry said HandaLab grew under its technology commercialisation support system, including early-stage support to establish the lab company and later R&BD assistance for core technology and patents.
