Qualcomm, Hyundai Mobis team up on ADAS for emerging markets

Qualcomm Technologies has signed a comprehensive agreement with Hyundai Mobis to jointly develop next-generation solutions for software-defined vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding on Jan. 7 local time at the Hyundai Mobis booth during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Their first project is a driving and parking solution based on the Snapdragon Ride Flex system-on-chip, aimed at emerging markets including India.

NHN Cloud shares 2025 NHN Notification results; KakaoTalk Biz Messages up 50 percent

NHN Cloud on Jan. 8 disclosed key results for its cloud-based messaging solution NHN Notification. The company said it helped customers send 15 billion messages across various channels in 2025, an 8 percent increase from the previous year. It said KakaoTalk Biz Messages volumes rose by more than 50 percent. NHN Cloud also said its Notification Hub saw its customer base more than double and it plans to launch an integrated RCS service in 2026.

Musinsa coupon effect doubles beauty sales value

Musinsa saw a surge in non-fashion sales after issuing a New Year discount coupon pack worth 50,000 won, an amount similar to Coupang’s personal data leak compensation plan. Industry officials said non-fashion transaction value on Musinsa’s online store rose sharply from Jan. 1 to Jan. 5 versus a year earlier. Beauty sales value doubled, while household goods also grew. Its online select shop 29CM posted comparable increases.
