Megazone, the parent of AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud, has signed a partnership with Taiwan collaborative robot specialist Techman Robot Inc. focused on robot education and technology cooperation, it said on Thursday.

The two companies plan to jointly run practical training programmes using Techman Robot's collaborative robots and create various cooperation opportunities to build a physical AI and humanoid ecosystem in the South Korean market.

They also plan to link Megazone's physical AI platform WISE (Work Intelligent for Spatial Execution) with Techman Robot's robot technology to help customers implement AI-based robotic automation.

According to the company, Megazone WISE is a physical AI platform that creates and trains robot movements. For robots to perform real tasks, they need actions that match the work objective, such as extending an arm, picking up objects and moving them. WISE supports creating such actions anew or adjusting the speed, path and joint angles of existing actions, and refining them into task-suitable actions through AI training.

Techman Robot is a collaborative robot and physical AI company that started as a subsidiary of Taiwan computer manufacturer Quanta Computer and listed on the Taiwan market in October 2025.

The two companies plan to move into full-scale cooperation starting with education collaboration in July. Megazone will provide the operating environment through its training centre, and Techman Robot will take charge of collaborative robot equipment and technical support.

Megazone Vice President Jae-seok Lee (이재석) said robot technology is evolving into a core technology that realises physical AI-based autonomy and intelligence beyond digital transformation across industries, including manufacturing. He said Megazone will link its WISE solution with Techman Robot's collaborative robot technology to train job-ready talent that can be used immediately at industrial sites and build a technology cooperation ecosystem that encompasses robots and surrounding devices.
