Baemin releases New Year campaign video
Woowa Brothers, the operator of delivery app Baemin, said on Thursday it released a New Year campaign video on Jan. 1. The campaign carries a message of people encouraging one another at the start of 2026, using a concept of delivering “bok,” a symbol of the new year. The 22-second video shows everyday scenes within a phone frame and ends with a delivery-complete pop-up greeting.

Coupang Play to live stream all matches of 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup
Coupang Play said on Thursday it will live stream all matches of the 2026 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Asian Cup, starting on Jan. 6. The tournament is seen as an important stage for South Korea's U23 team ahead of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in September. The team, coached by Lee Min-sung, is aiming to win the title for the first time since 2020.

More than 4 in 10 South Koreans in their 20s and 30s use crypto exchange Upbit, with cumulative membership topping 13 million, an infographic released by operator Dunamu showed. Upbit had 13.26 million cumulative members as of Dec. 22, after adding 1.1 million new users in 2025. Women accounted for 43.1 percent of new users, and people in their 50s made up 20 percent of new sign-ups. Ripple was the most-traded token in 2025.
