YouTube expands conversational AI feature to smart TVs

YouTube has begun testing an expansion of its conversational AI feature to smart TVs, game consoles and streaming devices, TechCrunch reported on Feb. 19. The feature had been available only on mobile and the web. It is activated via an “Ask” button on the TV screen, recommends video-related questions and allows users to speak queries through a remote microphone. It supports English, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese and Korean for users aged 18 and over.

OpenAI nears $100 billion funding round, valuation tops $850 billion

OpenAI is expected to soon wrap up a $100 billion funding round, TechCrunch reported on Feb. 19, citing Bloomberg. Major technology companies including Amazon, SoftBank, Nvidia and Microsoft participated. Amazon may invest up to $50 billion, SoftBank $30 billion and Nvidia $20 billion, with Microsoft also planning a sizable investment. The round could value OpenAI at more than $850 billion.

XRP slumps more than half, but analyst says path open to $18

Analysis that XRP is showing a decline pattern similar to 2017 and 2018 is raising talk of a potential sharp rebound. XRP has recently posted five consecutive months of weakness and on Feb. 6 slid as far as $1.11, its lowest in 15 months, down 65 percent from its January 2025 high of $3.4. Analyst CryptoBull said a wave-structure pattern could allow a rise to $18, while noting uncertainty remains.
