Coupang says NIS asked it to contact suspect; government denies

A parliamentary joint hearing on Dec. 31 focused on whether South Korea's National Intelligence Service directed Coupang to contact a suspect and conduct device seizure and forensics in a personal data leak case. A Coupang legal executive said the NIS requested contact and cited a national security-related duty to cooperate, but said wording was often ambiguous. 11st says first-time Shooting Delivery purchases jump 229 percent in December

11st said new customers for its fast-delivery service Shooting Delivery increased sharply in December, as first-time purchases rose 229 percent from a year earlier between Dec. 1 and Dec. 29. The company cited a seven-day delivery system and free shipping without membership fees or minimum order requirements. Grocery categories also grew, with processed foods doubling and broad gains across daily necessities. An executive said the service would keep expanding.
