Shinhan Investment's comprehensive financial welfare service for companies and their employees, Shinhan Premier Workplace WM, has signed MOUs with more than 200 companies.
Shinhan Investment said on Tuesday that the number of companies partnering for its workplace wealth management service, which it is pursuing as a core business-to-business strategy this year, has exceeded 200.
The number has doubled in about a month after surpassing 100 partner companies in June.
Shinhan Investment explained that the expansion reflects intensified competition among companies to secure talent and rising interest in employee financial welfare as environmental, social and governance (ESG) management spreads.
Shinhan Premier Workplace WM is a B2B financial welfare solution that extends Shinhan Premier's wealth management services to companies and their employees.
The service consists of five areas: consulting on stock compensation plans, management of corporate surplus funds, tailored wealth management and education for employees, support for executive networks, and retirement pensions.
Shinhan Premier Pathfinder, a group of 100 experts across eight fields, provides one-on-one tailored consultations to companies and employees.
Yongwook Jung (정용욱), head of Shinhan Premier at Shinhan Investment, said results come from employees experiencing the service and improving their financial quality of life. He said the company will operate the service more aggressively in the second half so that Workplace WM can establish itself as a core corporate welfare infrastructure.
