[DigitalToday reporter Ho-jeong Lee] Com2uS Holdings said on Tuesday it has officially released the action-adventure game 'Fading Echo' on the global PC distribution platforms Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The new title was developed by Emeteria Studio under French game publisher Nacon. Com2uS Holdings said it will use the global launch of the PC version as a turning point to step up efforts to target overseas console and PC markets, after prior validation through events including Steam Next Fest.

A differentiating feature of Fading Echo is its elemental physics system that responds organically with the environment. The game follows a young hero, One, who wields the power of water as he adventures between the desert planet Corel and the Shadow that exists behind it. It unfolds a layered narrative set in the Echoverse, an original universe spanning both worlds.

It introduced an original action system that lets players freely transform and use liquid water and gaseous water vapour to suit the situation during combat. It applies environmental mechanics in which various elements interact, designed to let users experience differentiated combat depending on battlefield conditions.

It also enhanced localisation and audio quality for global users. Subtitles support a total of 9 languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, German and French, and voice is provided in English.

To mark the official release, Com2uS Holdings is launching a promotion for global users. For about 2 weeks from the release date, it will offer the game at a 10 percent discounted price on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
