Hana Bank partners with Next Securities to strengthen foreign investment infrastructure

Hana Bank said it signed an agreement with Next Securities at its headquarters in Seoul to improve the domestic stock investment environment for overseas investors. The agreement covers FX transactions and custody services for foreign securities investment. The two firms will cooperate on real-time exchange-rate information sharing and trading via an FX API, custody for settlement at domestic exchanges, and applying real-time rates to overseas investors around the clock.

IMI sponsors cultural arts programme at Jeonbuk Maeum Sarang Hospital

IMI said on Wednesday it delivered funding to Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Maeum Sarang Hospital to support cultural and arts programmes aimed at helping psychiatric patients recover. The sponsorship is part of IMI's social contribution initiative, the "Possibility On" project, which runs from April 15 to November. IMI will cover materials and prizes for exhibitions. The programme targets children, teenagers and adults in their 60s suffering severe mental illnesses such as addiction and depression.

Hecto Financial moves to secure AI agent payment infrastructure with stablecoins

Global fintech firm Hecto Financial is targeting the AI agent payment infrastructure market using stablecoins. The company said it will begin a proof of concept with Goover, the U.S. unit of AI company Saltlux, and blockchain wallet infrastructure firm Hecto Wallet One to build an automated stablecoin payout system optimized for AI agents. The collaboration aims to settle Goover user contribution revenue in dollar-pegged USDC and support cross-border, micro and high-frequency transactions.
