Shinhan Bank launches next-generation foreign exchange platform Shinhan eFX
Shinhan Bank said on Tuesday it has newly launched Shinhan eFX, a web-based, non-face-to-face foreign exchange trading platform for corporate clients. The bank said the overhaul turns eFX from an add-on within corporate internet banking into a standalone platform. Shinhan eFX supports real-time exchange rates and FX transactions including TOD settlement, spot and forward deals, MAR and FX swaps. It also introduces netting settlement and forward maturity management.

KOSPI triggers sell sidecar for second straight day
South Korea's KOSPI triggered a sell-sidecar on the main board on March 4 at 9:05 a.m. as the benchmark index continued to slide sharply for a second day, the report said. The measure was activated on the Korea Exchange's securities market.

Naver Webtoon launches second cohort of Cutts
Naver Webtoon said on March 4 it held a meeting for creators of its short-form animation user-generated content service, Cutts, at its Green Factory headquarters the previous day. About 40 creators attended the second Cutts Creators Day. The company introduced the service’s direction and creator support programmes and shared production experiences. The second cohort will run for three months through May and receive total rewards worth 50 million won.
