Cafe24 D2C shopping malls' AI-driven visits up 72 percent year on year

Cafe24 said visits to its platform-based direct-to-consumer shopping malls via generative AI services rose 72 percent from a year earlier to about 850,000 in the second quarter of 2026. ChatGPT accounted for 73 percent of the traffic. Gemini traffic surged 686 percent, lifting its share to 20 percent. Cafe24 said AI-driven visits also boosted conversion rates and orders, and it is adopting GEO tools to help AI better understand mall and product information.

Ethereum spot ETFs beat bitcoin for second week, led by BlackRock's ETHA

Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds drew net inflows of $103.8 million last week, about three times the amount for bitcoin spot ETFs, which recorded $33.9 million, The Defiant reported. It was the second consecutive week ethereum spot ETFs outpaced bitcoin spot ETFs. The gap was driven mainly by BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), which took in $96.3 million, while iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) posted $95.5 million in net outflows.

KOSPI triggers sell sidecar after over 5 percent plunge; Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix fall

South Korea's KOSPI fell more than 5 percent soon after the open on Tuesday, triggering a sell sidecar that temporarily halted program sell orders on the main board. As of 9:09 a.m., the index was down 381.32 points, or 5.64 percent, at 6,374.43. Foreign investors and institutions were net sellers, while retail investors bought. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix fell, while Samsung Biologics rose.
