Mirae Asset's digital-asset investment platform Korbit will change its service name to "Digital X" from Sept. 16. The company is revamping its service brand following an August corporate name change, completing brand integration work after joining the Mirae Asset Group.
Digital X said it will change the existing "Korbit" name to Digital X from Sept. 16 and overhaul user-facing touchpoints such as its domain, application icon and brand identity.
The revamp follows the corporate name change in August. The company has been integrating its corporate and service brands in stages since joining the Mirae Asset Group.
Digital X also urged users to beware of phishing that may occur during the service name and domain change process. It advised users not to use text messages or websites impersonating the service revamp and to check changes through official channels.
It plans to expand digital-asset products and services in stages by leveraging the Mirae Asset Group's financial infrastructure and customer base.
Oh Se-jin (오세진), CEO of Digital X, said, "This revamp marks the start of a new leap forward we will create together with the Mirae Asset Group," adding, "We will continue to roll out products and services in stages."
