RSUPPORT extends RemoteView free trial to 30 days ahead of Chuseok holiday

RSUPPORT said on Thursday it will extend the free trial period for its remote control solution RemoteView to 30 days from 14 days for new subscribers until Sept. 30, ahead of the Chuseok holiday. The company said store owners and manufacturers worry about on-site management gaps during holiday periods. RemoteView allows remote checks and control of store POS and kiosks and factory equipment, and includes encryption and security features.

AI product verification certificate draws attention as Korea moves to lower entry barriers to public AI market

South Korea will introduce an AI product verification certificate scheme under the AI Basic Act, aimed at lowering barriers for AI firms entering the public market. The certificate is not a formal certification but an alternative way to prove technical requirements in procurement, a lawyer said. KOSA will accept and issue applications, while TTA will conduct technical reviews. Products with certificates will receive eased requirements, including waived delivery records and credit ratings, and bid evaluation advantages.

Netflix steps up viewing data-driven ad strategy, expands DSP partnerships

Netflix said on Sept. 18 it took part in The Trade Desk's 'TTD Open Forum: Omnichannel in the AI Era' on Sept. 17 and introduced its data-based advertising strategy and ad technology. An industry lead said attention has become a meaningful metric and called for using advanced data infrastructure and technology-based partnerships. Netflix said it uses viewing data to design campaigns, offers several ad products, and is expanding programmatic ad buying linked to DSP platforms.
