SK Broadband said on Sept. 18 it has obtained the "2026 Excellent Human Resources Development Institution" certification jointly overseen by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The certification is a nationally recognised programme that evaluates ability-based recruitment and management, education and training. It reviews 19 human resources management indicators and 24 human resources development indicators.
SK Broadband was assessed, following a document review and an on-site inspection, on personnel management responding to AI transformation and its system for developing employees’ AI capabilities.
The company said it operates job- and level-based training programmes so all employees can use AI technology in their work.
Min Boo-sik (민부식), head of SK Broadband’s Corporate Culture Center, said it was the result of sustained investment in talent development based on a belief that employees’ growth is the company’s competitiveness. He said the company would strengthen an environment in which employees and the company grow together based on people-centred AI transformation management.
