Hana Bank holds children's financial musical 'Jack's Magic Wallet'

Hana Bank said on Wednesday it held a performance of the children's financial musical "Jack's Magic Wallet" at H-Pulse in Mapo-gu, Seoul, during the summer vacation period. The program has been run since 2007 for financial education for future generations. It has staged about 670 performances and drawn about 200,000 cumulative viewers. The show covers saving, responsible spending, sharing and the concept of exchange rates.

TTA expands mobile technology cooperation with Vietnam's Viettel to support exports by Korean firms

The Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) said it is expanding cooperation on next-generation mobile technology and business with Vietnam's mobile operator Viettel. TTA said it held a B5G and 6G standards technology business exchange event and workshop with Viettel Group in Hanoi over two days from Aug. 4. The event aimed to help South Korean firms with mobile equipment and solutions build business networks and pursue entry into Vietnam.

Naver Happybean to boost Gangneung alley shops with funding and market link

Naver Corp's Happybean will run a campaign to help local small merchants develop sales channels and revitalise alley shopping districts in Gangneung. The campaign runs from July 27 to Aug. 25 on Happybean's online funding page, with an offline pop-up event held Aug. 7-9 at Gangneung Gamja Market in a traditional three-day market format. Participants can receive up to 19 percent discounts and early-bird Naver Pay points.
