Webtoon Entertainment to integrate and overhaul amateur creator space Canvas

Webtoon Entertainment, Naver Webtoon’s headquarters, said on Thursday it will overhaul its platform for global amateur webtoon creators. The company will integrate its Canvas creator space, currently run separately in seven languages, into a single global platform in the first half of the year. The revamp will add an optional translation program, a dashboard to track performance and a personalised recommendation feature. A pilot will start on some English Canvas works.

IMI colors aged manhole covers in Jeonju's Dohyeon village in 'Underfoot Art Museum' project

IMI, the operator of ItemMania, held a social contribution activity using public art in Dohyeon village in Jeonju on March 26, it said on March 27. The project aimed to address appearance, noise and vibration problems caused by aged stormwater manhole covers near the village entrance. IMI supported environmental improvements and donations, with local officials and artists taking part. Staff colored nine covers and joined residents in planting and cleanup.

Pearl Abyss CEO Heo Jin-young vows to make Crimson Desert a game loved for a long time

Pearl Abyss held its 17th annual general meeting of shareholders on March 27 at its Gwacheon headquarters and approved three agenda items, including financial statements and a new cap on director compensation set at 10 billion won. CEO Heo Jin-young said 2025 consolidated revenue rose 9.8 percent, though higher Crimson Desert marketing costs led to an operating loss and a net loss. He shared early launch metrics and addressed questions on story, DLC and the next title, DokeV.
