Bithumb said on Wednesday it was named No. 1 in the virtual asset exchange category under finance in the 2026 Korea Customer Satisfaction Index (KCSI) survey hosted by Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). It is the second straight year it has won after becoming the first in the industry to top the category last year.

KCSI is a customer satisfaction index that assesses the level of customer satisfaction with products and services by industry through overall satisfaction, composite satisfaction by factor and intention to reuse.

Bithumb said it focused this year on providing investment information using artificial intelligence (AI) and improving trading convenience.

Through “Bithumb AI,” which provides services such as “AI Item Signal” and “AI Item Analysis,” it enabled users to check market trends and key information by item. It also introduced an “AI Trade Kit” that allows users to build automated trading programs based on generative AI.

In trading services, it revamped the screen and colour system and introduced time-weighted average price (TWAP) orders and a portfolio buying function. It also simplified procedures so users can open a KB Kookmin Bank account without installing an application and link it to Bithumb.

It also strengthened customer counselling and its user protection framework. Bithumb introduced a speech-to-text (STT)-based consultation support service, the first among domestic digital asset exchanges, and operates customer service channels such as phone and chat 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

It operates a video-call identity verification procedure for the ultra-elderly. It is pushing to adopt quantum-resistant cryptography, while also expanding its bug bounty programme and conducting regular information security campaigns.

A Bithumb official said, “This award is the result of recognition for our efforts to steadily reflect customers’ voices in our services.” The official added, “We will continue to build a stable trading environment that anyone can use with peace of mind.”
