Phishing email impersonating broadcast media office warns of Naver password theft

The Broadcast Media Communications Office said on May 19 that malicious emails are being spread that impersonate the Broadcast Media Communications Commission and send false official notices of an advance fine notice to Naver users. The emails use a subject citing an advance notice under the Information and Communications Network Act and link to a fake screen asking for a Naver password. The office warned of further damage and urged users not to click suspicious links.

Hancom reborn as Hancom, declares shift to sovereign agentic OS company

Hancom, formerly known as Haansoft, set out “sovereign agentic OS” as a key term for its strategy as it transforms into an AI company. It said it aims to become a global agentic OS company that guarantees strong data sovereignty while overseeing and controlling the operation of AI agents. Hancom will change its corporate name to Hancom and end sales of its existing year-based package after Hancom Office 2024, shifting to a platform model with real-time AI upgrades.
