Wintermute warns bitcoin could slide if it breaks $75,000 as Nvidia results loom
Crypto market maker Wintermute warned bitcoin is testing a key support zone and could see further losses if it falls below $75,000. It set $76,000 to $78,000 as a major price area and said a break could open the way to the low $70,000s. Wintermute cited Nvidia earnings, ETF outflows, funding-rate resets and macro headwinds including inflation and higher U.S. yields, while noting reduced exchange balances and long-term buying as supportive factors.

IEA sees EV share at 30 percent in 2026, record high amid energy crisis
The global electric vehicle market is expected to set another record this year, with worldwide sales seen at about 23 million, the International Energy Agency said. The IEA said EVs already exceeded 20 million sales last year, up about 20 percent, making one in four new cars sold electric. China remained the largest market and supplier, while Europe and other regions posted strong first-quarter growth.
