Lomin CEO Ji-hong Kang (강지홍).

Document AI company Lomin said on Thursday it has obtained the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) SaaS standard rating for its AI agent platform, 'Lomin'.

Lomin plans to use the certification to step up SaaS supply to public institutions. It aims to complete registration with the Public Procurement Service’s Digital Service Mall within the year. It also plans to expand SaaS supply to small and midsized companies.

Lomin is a document AI agent platform based on a vision-language model (VLM). It automates the full document workflow, from document recognition and structural analysis (parsing) to classification, information extraction, document-to-document comparison, de-identification of personal information and integration with business systems.

It converts unstructured documents such as scanned documents, faxes, image PDFs and handwriting into data that can be used immediately in business systems and links them with existing administrative systems.

Lomin CEO Ji-hong Kang (강지홍) said, "By obtaining the CSAP standard rating, we have laid the foundation for public institutions to use Lomin Document AI in a SaaS format." He added, "We will automate various document tasks in the public sector more efficiently, including civil affairs, administration and records management, and establish ourselves as document AI that public institutions can trust in SaaS as well as in on-premises deployments."
