Banksalad has filed for a preliminary review for a Kosdaq listing and has begun the initial public offering process in earnest.
Banksalad said on Thursday it submitted an application for a preliminary listing review for a Kosdaq listing to the Korea Exchange. Mirae Asset Securities is the lead manager.
Since its founding in 2012, Banksalad has expanded its business into integrated management of financial information, brokerage of financial products, infrastructure linking financial companies, and the combination of financial and health data. It currently operates brokerage services for financial products such as loans, insurance and cards, and a personal financial management (PFM) service based on MyData and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure.
Performance is also improving. Based on its 2025 standalone financial statements, revenue was 26 billion won, up 77 percent from 14.7 billion won a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA, excluding non-cash costs such as share-based compensation, was minus 1.9 billion won, an improvement of 74 percent from a year earlier.
Adjusted net loss, excluding one-off accounting factors related to redeemable convertible preferred shares (RCPS), was 680 million won, down 89 percent from a year earlier.
Banksalad adopted Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) starting with its 2025 business report as part of preparations for listing. The size and schedule of the offering will be decided in consultation with the lead manager depending on progress of the preliminary listing review.
A Banksalad official said the company plans to develop into an AI agent service that supports financial decision-making and execution based on accumulated financial and health data and technology. The official said it would also proceed diligently with the listing process while strengthening business competitiveness based on an AI OS.
