iM Bank to provide 1 trillion won in Lunar New Year special loans

iM Bank said on Monday it will support 1 trillion won in 2026 Lunar New Year special loans starting Feb. 2. The programme will run through March 6 and is aimed at easing management difficulties for small and medium-sized businesses and revitalising the local economy. It comprises 500 billion won in new loans and 500 billion won in maturity extensions. Firms can receive up to 1 billion won each, with rate discounts based on credit grades and transaction terms.

Apple seen moving to expand Face ID beyond iPhone to Mac

A rumour that Apple is developing an ultra-thin Face ID module for a next-generation iPhone Air2 is fuelling speculation the technology could later be used in MacBook or iMac models. Mac products have faced space constraints at the top of the display, making Face ID difficult to add, but a thinner module could overcome that limit.
