Naver signs AI infrastructure MOU with AMD to advance HyperCLOVA X GPU computing

Naver said it signed a memorandum of understanding with AMD on March 18 at its second headquarters, 1784, to expand an AI ecosystem and cooperate on next-generation infrastructure. Executives from both companies attended the event. The partners plan to build an ecosystem linking AI technologies across various infrastructure environments and boost technical flexibility. They will strengthen cooperation on high-performance GPU computing optimized for Naver’s HyperCLOVA X and support academic research through shared computing resources and joint projects.

Netmarble to launch 'Shangri-La Frontier: Seven Strongest Species' this year, opens Japan teaser site

Netmarble has opened a Japanese official teaser page for its in-development title 'Shangri-La Frontier: Seven Strongest Species' and said it plans to launch the game within 2026. The teaser page includes this year’s launch information and a promotional video featuring in-game cutscenes and a battle with the monster 'Gravekeeper Wezaemon'. Netmarble also plans offline activities in Japan tied to the launch, including participation in AnimeJapan 2026.

Lee Eok-won says he will split KOSDAQ into two tiers to create premium market

Lee Eok-won (이억원), chairman of South Korea's Financial Services Commission, said the KOSDAQ market will be divided into two leagues for mature innovative firms and growing scale-ups, with movement between them allowed. He said differentiated roles for KONEX, KOSDAQ and KOSPI will support corporate growth. Lee also pledged to respond forcefully to possible market volatility from Middle East geopolitical shocks, review expanding a 100 trillion won plus-alpha stabilisation programme, and strengthen action against stock manipulation and duplicate listings.
