Netmarble opened a Japanese official teaser page for its in-development new title 'Shangri-La Frontier: Seven Strongest Species' and said it plans to launch it within this year, it said on Tuesday.

The newly released teaser page provides this year’s launch information. A promotional video released alongside it includes in-game cutscenes and a battle scene with the monster 'Gravekeeper Wezaemon'.

The video is also available on the Korean official X account for 'Shangri-La Frontier: Seven Strongest Species'. Netmarble plans to release game information later through its official X account.

It will also hold offline activities in Japan to coincide with the within-year launch. Netmarble will take part in AnimeJapan 2026, held on March 28 to 29 at Tokyo Big Sight. Through the Shangri-La Frontier Production Committee booth, it plans to screen the latest promotional video and arrange events for visitors.

The original 'Shangri-La Frontier' is a web novel-based intellectual property with cumulative views surpassing 1 billion. It tells an adventure story of a high school student protagonist who, after playing unpopular games, plays the top-rated game 'Shangri-La Frontier' and goes through various experiences.
