Asus unveils lightweight, easy e-bike conversion kit
Asus has unveiled a new conversion kit that turns a conventional bicycle into an electric bike, signalling a full-scale entry into the e-bike market. The company introduced its E250G1 Intelligent Bike Booster at the Taipei International Cycle Show. The friction-drive device transfers power to the rear wheel without chain connections and supports multiple wheel sizes. It includes a removable 159Wh battery, three ride modes, built-in rear light and an app.

SKT approves tax-free dividend agenda to boost shareholder returns
SK Telecom on March 26 approved its 2025 financial statements and a dividend of 1,660 won per share at its 42nd annual shareholders meeting in Seoul. The company also passed a proposal to cut capital reserves to support “tax-free dividends” aimed at improving shareholder returns, converting 1.7 trillion won into retained earnings for dividend funding. Some articles of incorporation were revised, and new directors were elected.

More South Korean companies adopt 'frontier transformation' by rebuilding with AI
Microsoft on Wednesday unveiled its "frontier transformation" strategy and a supporting framework at an AI Tour Seoul event, aiming to help South Korean companies redesign processes beyond simple productivity gains. It also introduced local examples using the framework, including KT, Hyundai Department Store Group, Yonsei University Health System, RLWRLD, Hyundai AutoEver, Hanwha Qcells and Enhance. The cases ranged from AI agents and shopping curation to clinical workflows, robotics and software development collaboration.
