Netmarble said on March 26 it held its 15th annual general meeting of shareholders at the G-Tower Convention Hall in Seoul’s Guro district.

At the meeting, the company reported key business results including consolidated 2025 sales of 2.84 trillion won and operating profit of 352.5 billion won. A total of 8 agenda items were approved as proposed, including amendments to the articles of incorporation, appointments of directors and audit committee members, approval of a capital reduction to cancel treasury shares, approval of the cap on directors’ remuneration, and revisions to rules on executive retirement pay.

Netmarble deleted a clause excluding cumulative voting through amendments to its articles of incorporation, taking into account revisions to the Commercial Act and protection of minority shareholders’ rights. It will also cancel 25,800 treasury shares acquired during a past merger process through a capital reduction.

Chairman Bang Jun-hyuk (방준혁), whose term expired, was reelected as an inside director. Yoon Dae-kyun (윤대균), a professor in the Department of Software at Ajou University, Hwang Deuk-soo (황득수), head of CJ ENM STUDIOS, and Lee Dong-heon (이동헌), a professor in the School of Global Business at Korea University’s Sejong campus, were also reelected as outside directors and audit committee members.

Netmarble CEO Kim Byeong-gyu (김병규) said the company launched 2 new titles and carried out 1 regional expansion in the first quarter this year. He said it plans to roll out its business with an aim of global markets, diversified genres and multi-platform. He also said it will prioritize tasks based on a development system designed around artificial intelligence and will work to improve the efficiency of game development and services by combining it with existing legacy systems.
