WireBarley signs strategic partnership with Los Angeles FC

Global fintech company WireBarley said on Jan. 27 it has signed a multi-year partnership with Los Angeles FC. WireBarley provides overseas remittance services from 7 countries to 46 countries and has recorded 2.2 million cumulative app downloads and 1.1 million cumulative subscribers. It plans to strengthen ties with Asian communities in the United States and expand awareness of its mobile-focused services. The partnership includes marketing rights in Los Angeles and designated countries.

Pinda launches AI residency hiring

Fintech firm Pinda said on Jan. 27 it will recruit for an AI residency student track called AI AGENT to secure practical AI talent. The programme targets undergraduate and master’s students and focuses on automating and redesigning real-world tasks in the finance and fintech domain, rather than research-based training. It runs for four months, comprising a five-week residency and a three-month internship, and includes screening and technical interviews.

Cafe24 says Ograe's shift to D2C lifts orders 250 percent in a month

Cafe24 said on Jan. 27 that average daily orders at agricultural corporation Ograe rose 250 percent after support under its K-Manufacturing smart e-commerce innovation project, while user numbers increased 180 percent. Ograe, founded in 2014, makes brown rice processed foods and protein shakes and holds a patented puffing method. Cafe24 revamped product pages and packaging through its Enterprise service, lifting conversion rate about 23 percent.
