Lotte said on Wednesday it has appointed executive director Kim Min-su (김민수) as the new head of the Lotte Talent Development Institute. Kim has worked for more than 25 years as an HR specialist consultant and has built experience across the full range of HR, including developing key talent. Lotte said the appointment reflects its efforts to advance a job-based HR-focused talent development system and to strengthen employees’ ability to use AI.
Kim worked as an HR specialist at consulting firms including EY Consulting, Accenture and Nemo Partners. From 2016, he served at EY Consulting as a partner for HR strategy and digital transformation (DT) and carried out multiple projects with major South Korean companies.
Kim will be responsible for advancing a job-based HR system that the Lotte Group is introducing. The company said he will also lead changes across working methods by improving employees' ability to use AI.
