KB Financial builds linked credit, psychological and legal support system for voice phishing victims
KB Financial Group will support the psychological and financial recovery of victims of voice phishing and other telecommunications financial fraud. It signed an MOU with the Korean National Police Agency and the Credit Recovery Committee to strengthen prevention and victim support. Under the agreement, police will produce and distribute prevention content and run support schemes, while the Credit Recovery Committee will provide credit counselling and link victims to psychological and legal services. The service starts June 1.

Qualcomm targets budget AI laptop market with Snapdragon C
Qualcomm Technologies Inc. on Thursday unveiled its Snapdragon C Platform processor for budget PCs, targeting laptops priced at about $300. The company said the chip is aimed at students, household users and small businesses. Acer, HP and Lenovo plan to launch products using the processor in the second half of this year. Qualcomm said the platform focuses on power efficiency, longer battery life and on-device AI through an integrated NPU.

Musinsa accelerates 'Next Beauty' push with offline expansion
Musinsa Beauty's offline stores helped raise online transaction value for brands that moved in, it said. Average daily online transaction value for about 500 brands that entered a permanent beauty shop at Musinsa Mega Store Seongsu last month rose about 35 percent from before the move-in period. Several brands posted triple-digit growth. Musinsa Beauty plans to open additional offline beauty stores in Seongsu and Hongdae in September and November.
