Lotte chairman Shin Dong-bin develops AI agent to drive groupwide AX rollout

Lotte is accelerating groupwide AI transformation led by Chairman Shin Dong-bin (신동빈), who attended a two-day CEO AI academy for about 50 affiliate CEOs, the group said. Shin built an AI service using vibe coding and developed an AI agent during the programme. Lotte plans practical AI agent training for all employees by year-end and will introduce an external generative AI tool next month. It will also hold an AI hackathon and an AI challenge.

MegazoneSoft provides technical support for Hankook & Company generative AI hackathon

MegazoneSoft, an affiliate of AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud, provided end-to-end support for Hankook & Company Group\'s generative AI-based hackathon, it said on June 16. The support, delivered with Google Cloud, covered building the usage environment, pre-event training and technical mentoring. The finals of the “AI Vibe Coding Hackathon 2026” drew 30 teams and 80 employees, with six teams selected as winners.

Sparrow to unveil \'Sparrow MCP\' for coding AI security

Application security company Sparrow held its annual customer event, SAI 2026, in Seoul on June 11 to assess security threats facing development environments centered on open source and AI coding and to share responses. Supply chain security researcher Lee Man-hee spoke on changing supply chain security and corporate strategies. Sparrow CEO Jang Il-soo said SBOM management should be expanded to track AI models and AI-generated code, and the company proposed Sparrow MCP to verify security from the code generation stage.
