[DigitalToday reporter Ji-young Lee] Webcash presented a plan to introduce fiscal AX by applying artificial intelligence to public agency financial work to automate data searches and analysis and repetitive tasks.

Webcash said on Sept. 14 it held a “Public Finance AX Strategy Seminar” from Sept. 1 to 9 across four regions nationwide including Seoul, Naju, Daejeon and Busan. The seminar targeted public agencies’ finance, treasury and audit officials.

The seminar covered fiscal-work innovation and responses to management evaluations, a case of converting to e-Education Treasury, a case of building an AI MIS at G Bank, and ways to use AXPort. Based on actual implementation cases, it introduced ways for public agencies to apply AX, including fiscal data searches and analysis and automation of repetitive tasks.

In the area of fiscal data searches, it presented use cases for an AI agent called OPERIA.

Through a case of building an AI MIS in the financial sector, it also introduced a method in which fiscal officials directly search and analyse needed data with natural-language questions without making separate requests to an IT department. Webcash explained that public agencies can also introduce AX in stages, starting with tasks to prioritise based on each institution’s circumstances.

It also introduced AXPort, a vibe-coding platform aimed at reducing manual work in the field. Even non-developers can create work apps in a browser, and institutions can manage them within security, access-rights and audit frameworks.

Webcash CEO Won-joo Kang (강원주) said, “Based on AI technology and implementation experience accumulated in the finance and fiscal sectors, we will support the introduction of fiscal AX tailored to each institution’s circumstances.”
