Open Secure AI Alliance launches with Nvidia and global partners; SK Telecom and Naver join
The Open Secure AI Alliance, a consortium to develop and share open technologies, techniques and tools to protect software and agents in the AI era, is launching under the lead of Nvidia and global companies. Nvidia and founding members plan to jointly develop and share open models, agent harnesses and security tools supporting responsible AI use and improved trust. SK Telecom and Naver are among the participating South Korean companies.

SKT joins Open Secure AI Alliance as founding member
SK Telecom said on July 27 it will join the Nvidia-led Open Secure AI Alliance as a founding member. The alliance, launched the same day, brings together global IT companies including Cisco, Cloudera, Databricks, CrowdStrike and Dell Technologies to pursue open innovation in the AI industry and build a safe and sound AI ecosystem. It aims to respond to new cyber threats as AI-driven attacks increase.

South Korea\'s Broadcast Media Telecommunications Commission urged consumers to beware exaggerated advertising by phone retailers ahead of Samsung Electronics\' Galaxy Z8 series preorders. It advised checking the seller and ensuring benefits are written into contracts.
