Naver Chzzk to stream LCK finals and Overwatch World Cup final weekend

Naver’s streaming platform Chzzk will provide coverage and run on- and offline events tied to the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea Finals on Sept. 12-13, it said on Thursday. As an official LCK sponsor, it will set up an offline booth near Seoul’s KSPO Dome and hold a fan sign and drawing event. Chzzk will also live stream the Overwatch World Cup main event and finals from BlizzCon 2026 in the United States.

SOOP to cancel 18.9 billion won of treasury shares, 2.7 percent of shares outstanding

SOOP will cancel treasury shares equivalent to about 2.7 percent of its total shares outstanding. The company said its board on Sept. 4 decided to cancel 306,375 common shares it holds. The planned cancellation amount is about 18.9 billion won based on book value, with the cancellation scheduled for Sept. 10. SOOP said the move will not reduce its capital stock and is part of previously flagged plans to use its treasury shares.

Netmarble to offer hands-on demos of three new titles at TGS 2026

Netmarble will unveil hands-on demos and stage programmes for three new games it plans to showcase at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The company opened dedicated websites for Shangri-La Frontier: Seven Strongest Species, Solo Leveling: Karma and Pearl in Blue, and will release details on demo content, stage events and on-site activities ahead of the show. The line-up includes talk shows with voice actors, cosplay events and live-streamed competitions.
