Apple adds Siri Recap to Apple Watch, raising privacy concerns over always-listening AI
Apple has introduced Siri Recap on new Apple Watch models, a feature that summarises conversations in real time into short notes. Apple says it does not create or store audio recordings and that raw audio cannot be accessed by the operating system, apps, users or Apple. The company also unveiled Live Rewind, which shows a text view of the previous 15 seconds when the digital crown is pressed twice. Critics warn of privacy and consent concerns for people nearby.

iPhone 18 Pro launch nears as three key changes draw attention
The iPhone 18 Pro is set to be unveiled next week, with attention focused on three upgrades discussed for years: a variable-aperture camera, a smaller Dynamic Island and an Apple-designed C2 modem. Reports say the variable-aperture system could appear on the main camera, possibly limited to the Pro Max or shared across both Pro models. The Dynamic Island may shrink by about 35 percent. The C2 modem is expected to replace Qualcomm chips, with performance details to be confirmed after an official announcement.
