BeInCrypto reported that funds are moving from safe assets into equities, concentrating on SK hynix and Samsung Electronics as expectations for AI semiconductor demand rise. It cited falling savings bank and term deposit balances, rising credit buying by older investors, and increased insurance cancellations, while warning of risks from leverage and volatility.

XRP could be used as collateral in institutional finance alongside bitcoin, ether and stablecoins, a blockchain outlet reported, citing Ripple Prime CEO Mike Higgins. He said the crypto market is shifting toward a structure that separates trading, custody, brokerage and clearing, with institutions preferring custodians and tri-party collateral. Higgins also highlighted tokenised assets and real-time payment infrastructure, and said Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin could improve capital efficiency.
