Binance to delist 12 margin trading pairs on Sept. 3, including SUI, AVAX, LINK

Binance will delist 12 margin trading pairs on Sept. 3 local time, including pairs linked to Sui, Avalanche and Chainlink. It will stop borrowing for the affected isolated margin pairs from Sept. 1. On Sept. 3, it plans to close user positions, carry out automatic settlement and cancel all open orders before removing the pairs from its margin service. Binance also plans a separate spot delisting of all spot pairs for ICON, Secret and Storj from Sept. 3.

MyData market expands as Korea faces impact of consecutive base rate hikes

Korea\'s financial MyData service is set to expand beyond individuals to sole proprietors and small merchants, evolving from simple data checks to executing financial tasks. The Financial Services Commission plans to broaden the right to request transmission of credit information and to introduce a \"My AI agent\". Separately, the Bank of Korea has raised its base rate for a second straight month, adding to upward pressure on loan rates and borrowers\' interest burdens.

Margin trading debt investing rises again as brokers tighten credit trading rules

Credit-financed stock investing in South Korea is rising again as market volatility increases. Margin loan balances, which had fallen to the 27 trillion won range early this month, have climbed to around 33 trillion won. Some brokerages have tightened internal risk controls, including lowering credit limits for clients aged 80 and older. Forced selling linked to unsettled trades has also increased in recent months.
