Woowahan Cheongnyeondeul to distribute 700,000 bottles of water at Baemin B Mart to support riders during heatwave season

Woowahan Cheongnyeondeul, which handles logistics services for Delivery Minjok, will distribute 700,000 bottles of water free of charge at Baemin B Mart stores nationwide from June 15 to Sept. 20. The company said the move is part of its 2026 comprehensive heatwave response plan for riders and follows a safety and health workplace agreement signed in May with government agencies. It also plans cooling equipment at pickup zones.

Why South Korea\'s privacy watchdog hit Coupang with a record fine

South Korea\'s Personal Information Protection Commission imposed a record 624.7 billion won fine on Coupang over a large-scale personal data breach reported in November last year. It also levied a 16.8 million won penalty.
