Hana Financial Group held a job fair with 20 local small but strong companies to support re-employment for mid-career job seekers in the Incheon area. It ran on-site hiring interviews and an artificial intelligence (AI)-based job support program, and also offered post-retirement asset management counselling.

Hana Financial said on Oct. 15 it held the "2026 Hana JOB Matching Festa in Incheon" at Songdo Convensia in Incheon on Oct. 14.

The event was organised as part of Hana Financial's mid-career re-employment support programme, "Hana Power On Second Life". It was the fifth such event this year, following ones in Busan in April, and then Gwangju, Suwon and Daejeon.

Seven related local organisations took part, including the Incheon Regional Office of Employment and Labor and the Incheon City Job Center. Twenty small but strong companies in airport, port, tourism, manufacturing, logistics and social services conducted one-on-one hiring interviews with job seekers on site. Programmes were also set up to help mid-career workers gain digital job experience and prepare for employment.

In the AI zone, the event supported AI-based resume writing, mock interviews, interview outsourcing, and career aptitude assessments.

Financial counselling was also offered. Hana Bank and its senior-focused organisation, the "Hana Happy Dream Team", provided consultations on retirement planning, including post-retirement asset management, inheritance and gifting, and voice phishing prevention.

Hana Financial plans to hold the final "Hana JOB Matching Festa" of the year at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul on Nov. 23.

A Hana Financial official said, "We will continue to expand job creation and re-employment support projects that connect mid-career talent with local small but strong companies and grow together with local communities."
