iPhone 18 Pro vs iPhone Ultra: three key differences
Apple may center its top iPhone lineup this fall on the iPhone 18 Pro and an iPhone Ultra, with clear differences expected in form factor, cameras and thermal design. The iPhone 18 Pro is seen keeping a bar-style design and prioritising new camera technology, including a telephoto lens. The iPhone Ultra is widely tipped as Apple’s first foldable iPhone, but may omit a telephoto camera and vapor-chamber cooling.

Apple likely to name first foldable iPhone \'iPhone Ultra\', rumours say
Apple may launch its first foldable iPhone this autumn and call it the iPhone Ultra, an IT outlet reported. The device is expected to be Apple’s most expensive iPhone and use a book-style inward fold with a wider internal screen. Rumours include a crease-free inner panel, two rear cameras without a telephoto lens, and two front cameras. It may run iOS 27 with enhanced multitasking and use an A20 Pro chip, C2 modem and Touch ID.

Apple foldable iPhone may use advanced adhesive to reduce screen creases
Advanced adhesive is drawing attention as a key technology to minimise screen creases in Apple’s first foldable iPhone. A report cited by NineToFiveMac said Apple is taking a multi-pronged approach to address creasing, with a special adhesive correcting minor unevenness in the folding area. TrendForce said the adhesive fills tiny gaps to reduce irregularities that become visible creases. The final product structure is not yet confirmed, and timing and branding remain unclear.
