KT strengthens leadership in AI security global standards, proposes development guidelines at ITU
KT took part in international standardisation discussions on AI security and digital trust at an International Telecommunication Union meeting. The company attended the ITU-T SG17 standards meeting in Chongqing, China, from Sept. 7 to 11 and proposed guidelines for developing cybersecurity-focused AI models as a new international standard work item. KT also joined digital trust standardisation work and proposed revisions to a technical report that were reflected in the final report.

SK Telecom CEO Jung Jae-heon met global telecom industry executives to discuss growth strategies for the AI era and ways to build digital trust. SKT said he attended the GSMA M360 ASEAN event in Kuala Lumpur on Sept. 9. Jung met GSMA Director General Vivek Badrinath to discuss next-generation growth opportunities and AI transformation strategies for telecom infrastructure. He also held talks on cooperation, security and digital crime prevention.

Morgan Stanley\'s E*Trade partners with Zero Hash to start spot cryptocurrency trading
Morgan Stanley\'s online investment platform E*Trade has started spot cryptocurrency trading for eligible retail clients, offering bitcoin, ether and solana. The service is provided through a partnership with crypto infrastructure company Zero Hash. Eligible customers can buy, sell and hold cryptocurrencies on E*Trade and view holdings alongside traditional assets. Transfers of digital assets into and out of the platform are expected to be added by year-end.
