Microsoft will hold Microsoft AI Tour Seoul on March 26 at COEX in Seoul and share an AI innovation framework and practical roadmaps.
Microsoft AI Tour is a global flagship event that tours cities around the world. The Seoul event targets business decision-makers, IT professionals, developers and engineers, and others interested in AI platforms and agentic AI.
In the keynote session, Scott Guthrie (스콧 거스리), executive vice president of Microsoft’s Cloud and AI group, will speak. Wonwoo Cho (조원우), head of Microsoft Korea, will deliver a keynote titled “Building South Korea’s AI Frontier.” The session will share a success framework and key insights on how companies can use AI to become frontier organisations.
AI adoption cases by major South Korean companies will also be introduced.
In breakout sessions, business executives and technical experts from Microsoft and its partners and customers, as well as industry experts, will share strategies for designing and scaling agentic AI. The sessions will focus on how to apply agentic AI to business through solutions such as Azure AI-based agents and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and on building security and governance frameworks, which are essential tasks in the AI era.
In breakout sessions, participants will share case studies from customers including Samsung Big Data Center, Yonsei University Health System, Kakao Pay Securities, Hyundai Department Store Group, KB Life and LG Electronics. Participants can review industry use cases and adoption scenarios across finance, healthcare and retail, and explore AI adoption directions suited to their organisations from the perspective of security, data protection and governance.
Workshop sessions are hands-on. Participants can develop customised AI agents using Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot and Foundry, modernise data environments with Fabric and Databricks, and strengthen capabilities to build AI apps and agents.
Ahead of the event, a pre-event will be held on March 25 for startup officials considering AI adoption and security experts looking at new security strategies in the AI era.
Microsoft Startup Connection 2026 – The Secret Agent will be held at Seoul MOS Studio. About 10 startups creating innovation at the forefront of AI agent building will take part and share practical know-how and experience.
On the same day, Microsoft Security Summit, AI & Digital Trust will be held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas. At the summit, Microsoft will provide practical insights companies can apply, from security operations innovation to data protection and regulatory responses, centred on an end-to-end security strategy.
