Toss Bank posts 96.8 billion won 2025 net profit, doubling from a year earlier
Toss Bank recorded an annual profit for the second consecutive year. The bank said its 2025 net profit was 96.8 billion won, up 51.1 billion won from 45.7 billion won a year earlier, nearly doubling. As of end-2025, loans and deposits totalled 1.54 trillion won, while deposit balances stood at 3.01 trillion won. Customer numbers reached 14.23 million, and delinquency and capital ratios improved.

K Bank posts 112.6 billion won net profit in 2025, shifts to non-interest-led growth
K Bank said it posted net profit of 112.6 billion won last year. It added 2.78 million new customers, taking the total to 15.53 million, and ended the year with 28.43 trillion won in deposits. Loans rose 13 percent to 18.38 trillion won. Interest income fell 7.8 percent, while non-interest income rose about 40 percent. Asset quality indicators improved and its BIS ratio was 14.52 percent.

Banks to expand Saehuimang Holssi supply, set 2026 target at 5.1 trillion won
South Korea’s banking sector will expand supply of the Saehuimang Holssi policy loan product for low-income and vulnerable borrowers, setting this year’s target at about 5.1 trillion won. The Financial Supervisory Service said banks supplied 4.0167 trillion won through the product last year, up 500.3 billion won from a year earlier, to 214,000 people. The product targets borrowers under specified income and credit-score thresholds.
